LETS TALK ABOUT POO

Poo can do a lot more than removing waste from your body. The different shapes, textures and colours can actually be used as a good indicator of your health.

Given how important this basic bodily function is for us, it’s important to understand how to interpret the information from our poo.

An easy way to do this is through the Bristol stool chart, which is a useful tool to classify your type of poo.

LETS TALK ABOUT WEE

Urine naturally carries a yellow pigment. When you are hydrated (drinking an adequate volume of fluid), your urine will be a light yellow or close-to-clear colour.

If you are becoming dehydrated (not drinking an adequate volume of fluid), you may notice that your urine becomes a deep amber or even light brown colour.

Sometimes your urine colour can be a sign of a health condition that you need to address.
